1666 HEARTH MONEY ROLLS

The 1666 Hearth Money Rolls for the Barony of Dungannon include Andrew Neall in the townland of Lisnastrane, parish of Clonoe. Lisnastrane is just one mile north of Coalisland.

RECORDS OF THE PARISH OF DERRYLORAN

  1. A list of the Protestant householders in the parish of Derryloran in 1740 includes the name of Math Neal.
  2. Included in a list of those confirmed on May 20, 1824, are John Neil aged 24, Elizabeth Neil aged 24, Mary Neil aged 21, Robert Neil aged 17 and Isabella Neil aged 16.
  3. Included in a list of those confirmed on Mar.25, 1828, are Matthew Neil aged 17, Robert Neil aged 23 and Robert Neil aged 18, all of Drumard.
  4. The list of those confirmed on Oct.19, 1833, includes William Neale of Drumard aged 22, Catherine Neale of Drumard aged 17, Bell Neale of Loy aged 19 and Nancy Neale of Loy aged 15.
  5. The list of those confirmed on Aug.5, 1840, includes Robert Neale of Drumard, aged 14.75.
  6. The list of those confirmed in 1843 includes Hugh Neal of Tullybury aged 18, James Neal of Tullybury aged 15, Mary A. Neal of Tullybury aged 20, Margaret Neal of Dromard aged 15, and Eliza Neal of Loy aged 22.
  7. The list of those confirmed in 1846 includes William J. Neal of Dromard aged 15.
  8. Among those confirmed on Aug.23, 1849, are Isabella and Eliza Neal(?) of Tullyberoy(?) both aged 15.
  9. The list of those confirmed in 1852 includes Mary Neil aged 17, William Neil aged 15 and Henry Neil aged 16.
  10. The list of those confirmed on Jun.26, 1856, includes Mary Neal of Gortalowry aged 16 and Robert Neal of Dromard aged 16.

Elenor Neill is included in a list of the parishioners confirmed at Tamlaght in 1782.

RECORDS OF THE PARISH OF BRACKAVILLE

  1. Thomas Neill of Newtownkelly was buried on May 28, 1966.
  2. Elizabeth Neill, born Nov.28, 1898, was living in Roxburgh House, Moy, at the time of her death in 1988. She was buried in Cookstown cemetery on Dec.26, 1988, at the age of 90.

NEILL. In loving memory of George died Apr.4, 1968, aged 81. [Lies directly over an old stone inscribed: Here lyes the body of Katherine O'Neil who dyed Aug.25, 1765, aged 25 years.]

NEILL. In loving memory of a dear husband and father Thomas Neill died Jun.18, 1955, and a dear wife and mother Sophia died Jan.10, 1985.

Sarah Neill aged 79, a married Episcopalian of Cookstown, died on May 26, 1924, of old age. Mr. Taylor registered the death. She is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

Sarah Jane Neill aged 72, a married Episcopalian housekeeper of Millburn St., Cookstown, died on Oct.14, 1936, of heart failure. David McCullough registered the death. She is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

Margaret Neill aged 60, a single Episcopalian farmer of Clare died on Oct.16, 1936, of heart failure. David McCullough registered the death. She is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

William Neill aged 51, a married Episcopalian member of H.M.Forces of Gortgonis died on Apr.22, 1945. He is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

James Neill aged 8, a single Episcopalian boy, of Coalisland died on Aug.27, 1948, as a result of an accident. William Neill registered the death. He is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

William Neill aged 75, an Episcopalian widower and old age pensioner, of Cookstown died on Dec.28, 1950, of senile decay. He is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

Robert John Neill aged 70, a married Episcopalian farmer, of Drumard died on Feb.10, 1951, of a stroke. A. Neill registered the death. He is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

John Neill aged 60, a single Episcopalian shipyard ganger, of Drum died on May 9, 1961, of heart failure. Thomas Young registered the death. He is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

Vera Neill aged 36, a married Episcopalian housewife, of Tullyhogue died on Oct.9, 1968, of thrombosis. She is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.

Lily J. Neill aged 81, a married Presbyterian housewife of Drumard, died on Oct.12, 1975, of heart failure. She is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown. Archie Neill registered the death.

Eliz. Neill aged 90, a married Episcopalian housewife of Rosborough House, Moy, died on Dec.23, 1989, of heart failure. She is buried in the Protestant Cemetery, Cookstown.
