The register of St. Columb's Cathedral, Londonderry (parish of Templemore, Londonderry) records the burial of Mary Erles, the daughter of Richard Erles, on July 30, 1658. [see Parish Register Society of Dublin, National Library of Ireland 92930, 1910]

Newspaper report: Thomas Earles of Sligo died on May 25, 1835, after a long and painful illness.

Death of Mrs. Dorothea Earls, mother of Mrs. Isabella Little of Shillingmore on July 1, 1844. Mrs. Isabella Little, wife of John Little of Shillingmore died of decline on June 29, 1844. Shillanmore is just south of Tempo, County Fermanagh.

William Burchell Earls, the son of John Alexander Earls and Edith Burchell (Scott) died on Feb.7, 1895, in Germantown, New South Wales, Australia, at the age of 5 months of gastro-enteritis. He is buried in the Church of England Cemetery in Germantown.

Henry Earls died in Gortmesson, Enniskillen, Co.Fermanagh, on Dec.13, 1899.

Catherine Granleese (formerly Elliott), 76, died in Lisnaskea on Oct.25, 1901, and is buried in Aghalurcher graveyard with he husband, John.

Michael Earls, bootmaker and old aged pensioner 75, born at sea, died at 171 Darling Street, Dalmain, NSW, on Jan.25, 1912, of hypertrophied prostrate uraemia. His father was William Earls, a bootmaker, and his mother was Mary Ryan. At aged 26 he had been married to Mary Ann Agnes Sheppard. They had children (current age in brackets), Clarissa (48), Sarah (46), Albert E. (44), William C.K. (42), Mary A. (40), John A. (38), Amy A. (36), Martha E. (34), Robert S. (32), Arthur D. (30) and more deceased. The informant is his daughter S.V. Williamson of Todmore Avenue, Kensington.

Mary Ann Agnes Earls, an old age pensioner aged 71, died at ``Hillgrove'', Calvert Street, Marrickville, New South Wales, Australia on Dec.12, 1911, of cancer. Her father was Robert Sheppeard, a woolstapler and manufacturer, and her mother was Sarah (Emmerton). At the age of 21 she had been married to Michael Earls in Sydney, NSW. They had many children.

Sarah Earls died in Ballykine, County Down, on Apr.11, 1914.

Margaret Earls died in Ballynally, Moville, County Donegal, on Feb.6, 1915.

Freda P. Earls, the daughter of William D. and Edith Earls died in 1919 in New South Wales, Australia.

Mary E. Earls, the daughter of Mary Earls died in 1921 in New South Wales, Australia.

John Earls, the son of John and Mary Earls died in 1924 in New South Wales, Australia.

Robert Earls, an unmarried labourer aged 50, died in Kenmore Mental Hospital, Maulwaree Shire, New South Wales, on Jun. 24, 1926, of double pneumonia. He was buried in the mental hospital cemetery. The death was registered in Goulburn.

Sarah Earls, 80, died in 1927 in a mental hospital in New South Wales, Australia.

John Earls died suddenly on Jul.30, 1927, at his father's residence in Church Street, Ballynahinch. John formerly worked in the Northern Bank, Comber, and was the son of John and Anne Earls. He was buried in the family burying ground at the Second Presbyterian Church, Ballynahinch [Belfast News-Letter].

Elizabeth S. Earls, 77, the daughter of John Earls, died in 1932 in Annandale, New South Wales, Australia.

Joseph Earls, the son of James K. and Veronica M. Earls, died in 1933 in New South Wales, Australia.

A stillborn child of Francis N. and Lily M. Earls, died in 1935 in New South Wales, Australia.

Clarisa Earls, the daughter of Michael and Agnes Earls, died in 1937 in New South Wales, Australia.

Phyllis Edith Earls, the daughter of Charles Albin and Amy Susie Earls, died in 1937 in New South Wales, Australia.

Edith Burchell Earls, the daughter of John Arthur and Sarah Earls, died in 1937 in New South Wales, Australia.

Thomas Earls, an unmarried labourer aged 95, died in the Little Sisters of the Poor Home, Randwick Municipality, New South Wales, Australia on Oct. 27, 1938, of arterio-schlerosis. He was buried in the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Rookwood. Thomas was born in County Clare, Ireland, the son of William and Mary Earls, and had been in NSW for 48 years.
