CENSUS OF 1851

Only fragments of the 1851 Census of Ireland survived the 1922 Dublin fire. Fortunately some of these fragments (microfilmed by the Genealogical Library, Salt Lake City, Utah) are from areas of interest in County Antrim. Listed below are records of Brennan families from the 1851 Census. Locations are identified by county, barony, parish and townland in that order. Included are all those present in the house on the night of the census; also listed after A: are those absent from the household and after D: those who died during the preceding ten years.
